For many football fans, the conclusion of Superbowl Sunday which occurs on the first Sunday of February, means the end of getting to enjoy the sport they love until the pre-season and really not until the regular season starts in September. For many of us fans this means a seemingly never ending countdown to the next season. For the record the countdown to the 2020 NFL season is 218 days (as of February 5, 2020) until kickoff.
For you fans who are searching for a more entertaining and less depressing way of getting through the NFL off-season, Touchdown Talks has your back. “How?” you ask. Here on the Touchdown Talks we’ll be covering everything from the NFL off-season news, which to some newer or lesser invested fans may come as a surprise but it’s true during much of the off-season. Not only that but this year football fans will have the ability to enjoy pro football with the return of the XFL.
The XFL, which initially debuted in 2001, and only lasted for one season in its original form. However the good news for fans who would like to see the XFL succeed add bringing more entertaining football, is that this new XFL which has its’ inaugural season starting this weekend, the league is designed to be much different from the original XFL to avoid the issues that league dealt with in 2001.

For those of you still not ready to get excited about the XFL, not to worry we will also be covering everything NFL as well. The next major NFL event is the NFL combine, which takes place in Indianapolis, Indiana. The combine will occur this February 24 - March 2. From that time through the end of April there will be a plethora of NFL events and notable time periods such as the free-agency and the NFL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada taking place April 23 - 25.
